3D Modelling
This brake caliper was designed for an engineering project by reverse engineering an existing caliper in Solidworks.
Slicing for print
The caliper was then exported to a slicer which converts the 3D model into a 3D printable g-code file.
Print!
After post processing and cleaning, the part was checked for integrity of internal geometry and dimensional accuracy. Printed in black PLA.
